Puja B

Puja was 21 years old. She grew up in a poor family where her parents worked very hard to manage the family's daily needs. Unfortunately, her mother got sick, and they had to spend most of their money on her treatment and even had to take out loans. Because of this, Puja was compelled to leave school and start working to support her family.

Puja was told about a well-paying job in India by a local woman and was taken by that woman towards India. As she was on the way, she was intercepted at the Nepalgunj Border and offered to train at our partners’ Training Center.

"I was referred to the Training Center where I started learning Tailoring skills. I made a goal to complete the training and began working very hard. I completed my basic training and then went on to advanced training. I want to start my own business in my community. I have already bought a sewing machine and am searching for a business location. I am going to start my business very soon. I am so excited!"
